Projects for Non-Project Managers
Course
Description
Training courses about projects usually focus on project
management and the tools used by project managers. But project
managers actually represent a small percentage of the people who
work on projects. Most people involved in projects are not project
managers, but sponsors, users, business analysts, programmers,
engineers and specialists, among others. This course will offer an
oversight of all aspects of the project process from differing
perspectives.
The purpose of this course is to analyse projects from the
perspective of the external players in projects who are not project
managers, but who nonetheless play an important role. Although the
fundamentals of project management are covered in the course, the
primary focus is the importance of the tasks performed by project
team members who are not project
managers.
