Team Building
Course
Description
This is a course designed to help teams achieve a higher degree
of effectiveness, by bringing the individuals together into a
bonded, fully functioning unit. The course is based around a number
of group exercises that allow participants to understand the
importance of teamwork, whilst enjoying the learning experience.
In agreement, outward bound activities can be integrated in to
the training, as can other innovative elements of team building,
such as paintballing, orienteering-based outdoor events and even
cookery competitions. Each course is adapted to clients needs and
can include materials or personalities from the clients
organisation. Alternatively, internationally renowned speakers can
be engaged to deliver motivational speeches (subject to booking), as
per the clients requirements.
Learning

By the end of the course, delegates will
be working together as a cohesive unit, with shared goals and
common objectives

recognise the disadvantages of hidden agendas and
self-centered
behaviour patterns
have a clear understanding of the impact of culture on the
teams in which they operate
manage their own interaction in a style most appropriate to
the counterparty and the situation
Target
Audience
This course is designed to help companies who need to ensure that
their teams function to the maximum of efficiency and effectiveness.
To that end there is no specific target audience as the group and
its needs will be pre-defined by the client. The course can
therefore be delivered to operational staff, to groups of
supervisors or middle managers, or to smaller groups of senior
executives.
Duration
According to client needs. Normally, the number of participants
will be related to the activities included in the course, be they
outdoor, or classroom-based.
