Transfer Agency:
Concepts, Procedures and Methods
Course
Description
The function of transfer agency is vital in the investment fund
industry, because it is the interface between a fund and its
shareholders. It is also the official record-keeping function of
shareholder positions. Once considered a merely administrative
function, transfer agency is now recognised as having a significant
impact on the operation and image of a fund. At fast training, we
recognise this, so we offer a broad range of transfer agency
training, to answer the needs of your staff.
This basic level course describes the function and mechanism of
transfer
agency and shareholder servicing functions in detail. The course
also looks
at different approaches to transfer agency, as well as the
technology and
standards being used by transfer agents. A basic understanding of
investment funds is assumed.
A more advanced level course is available for those with more
experience
and knowledge. It can be delivered over different timescales.
