Description
The financial markets of the world are vast and extremely
complex. Whether bonds, equities, derivatives or investment funds,
each market has its unique characteristics. In addition to
operational differences, each geographic market has its own
regulatory environment, which adds to complexity. Understanding
different financial markets and the players in them is indeed a
difficult task. a
failure to understand and appreciate cultural differences. The
purpose of this course is to help participants deal with and
appreciate cultural diversity and the ways in which it impacts our
everyday lives in the workplace.
The objective of this course is to provide participants with an
overview of different financial markets in terms of market
characteristics, financial instruments, activities and market
players. The course focuses primarily on international and
cross-border markets for bonds, equities, derivatives and investment
funds. No previous knowledge of financial markets is required.
